With the growth in technology, they must also transform their business model, operations to sustain and achieve growth. Premium brand car buyers focus on high performance, safety, and a luxurious driving experience. However, now in the digital age, the brands focus on voice recognition, large-screen LCD and Infotainment systems, and auto driving.

In recent cars of brand Kia, MG and Mahindra i.e, Seltos, Hector and Thar. All three cars are from the same model subcompact SUV. But in terms of pricing, all are the same but while it comes on to performance and safety and technology, all three have different ends. Mahindra Thar is high on safety, Kia Seltos is high on performance and MG Hector is high on technology. This makes a tremendous confusion on the buyer end.

Even a few car manufacturers are working on Blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist and also on automated braking. The features are powered by chips and which helps in notifying the driver when a car is on a blind spot and also when a car moves out of the lane and using front cameras front automated braking is being developed.

The main feature in premium brands that are developed is the automated parking and self-drive. This technology uses a key to operate or uses a customized mobile app to park your car and also uses automated driving. Tesla, Rolls Royce, BMW and many other car manufacturers use this technology on their high-end cars to provide a comfortable travel experience and safety to the premium customers. Many other features like automatic lift gates that use a sensor under the boot of the car and by waving the leg under the boot will open the boot and place the luggage and in the same way it operates for closing. Wifi inside a car makes it like fantasy and this now becomes a trend in many cars as it makes connected while driving in low signal areas and is one of the latest technology in automobiles.

Now a day's Marketing and sales are also becoming online, as all the car's details and reviews are available on the internet and with that information, buyers tend to purchase their automobiles online and this is going to set a major trend in the future. The hands-on experience and test drives will be very less when compared to now, as all the marketing and sales are marching towards online for major premium brands.

There are many other technologies in the concept from many top brands like solar-powered cars, smart visors, biometrics and many more which are yet to come shortly.

This is how the car manufacturers mainly fight on the technology end and to capture the market share with their innovation and research.
